PLEASE NOTE:
** 2" Valve is Black in color (as shown in picture)
** 1 1/2" Valve is White in color
This valve is perfect for many uses. The two most common are 1) To regulate water flow before an external pump. One side will be plumbed to the skimmer and the other to the bottom drain. 2) To regulate water flow for uv lights. The most common mistake is to let all the water flow run through the uv light.
Multi-port (3-way) Valves: Multi-port valves form a "T" in the plumbing or in a pipe and allow for controlled passage of water through one or the other ports of the "T". Especially used in situations where plumbing space is at a premium and to simplify the plumbing.
