Green Clean Granular works on contact to control a broad spectrum of algae ( mainly string algae )in ponds, streams, waterfalls, fountains and other water features. Green Clean is organic and does not harm fish and aquatic life. It's patented formula immediately begins fighting algae blooms, releasing vital oxygen into the water as it biodegrades. Green Clean Granularalso eliminates algae on surfaces such as walkways and roofs.
Pond Guy note: Green clean is best used for control of string algae ,blanket weed and hair algae. Usually these types of algae are attatched to rocks in waterfalls, streams and ponds.
Directions for use: Turn off pump, sprinkle green clean over algae and wait 20 to 30 minutes before turning pump back on. The next day inspect treated area,apply green clean to area which still shows signs of algae (i.e. the places that you missed from the previous treatment).
