Quick Note from the POND GUY: Awesome product to work with, holds up well, I love the fact the I can use either flex pvc or vinyl tubing. ( Must purchase a couple of adapters for flex pipe, but well worth it). The pump will not clog up in the pond, due to the solids handling capability, so you will not be in the pond scraping the scum off your pump. I have personally installed over 20 units, all pond owners are very pleased. Just remember to have clear water, you want to select the model that is 2 times the size of your pond. Example: if your pond is 350 gallons or less, than the 700 gallon model is fine for you.
The Laguna Clear Flo Kit includes a pressurized filter, including UV plus a companion submersible high performance, low energy consumption pump. Both products come with a 3 year manufacturer warranty and will provide you with years of enjoyment and ease of maintenance. Laguna pressurized pond filters include an integrated UV (sterilizer/clarifier) to help eliminate green water algae and keep your pond crystal clear, clean and healthy. These all-in-one filters provide mechanical, *biological and UV sterilization and are designed to work in tandem with a solids handling pump such as Laguna’s Max-Flo. *(except model 700 which does not utilize a biological chamber)
They also feature a revolutionary patented Backwash-Cleaning System that quickly and easily cleans the surface of the included foam filters WITHOUT OPENING THE FILTER !!. The bio-media where the beneficial bacteria resides is not affected during this process. Backwash cleaning can be done easily and comfortably in a few minutes without opening the lid. This feature ensures that the filters perform at optimal levels and prolongs the time between full maintenance sessions. An easy-view cleaning indicator signals when it’s time to perform backwash cleaning.

Laguna Max-Flo Pumps combine High Performance with SOLIDS HANDLING. The strainer cage protects the impeller from debris. Cage opening 1/4" for 600, 900 and 1500 gph models and 5/16" for 2000 gph pump. All models (except 600 and 900) employ an integrated electronic circuit board to continuously control the impeller speed.
